  • For the spices for the tandoori sauce:
  • 2 tbsp. cumin
  • 2 tbsp. curry
  • 2 tbsp. coriander
  • 2 tbsp. ginger
  • 2 tbsp. turmeric
  • 2 tbsp. paprika
  • 1 C. minced garlic
  • 1 C. salt
  • 1 half teaspoon of cinnamon
  • 1 C. cayenne pepper
  • For the rest of the dish:
  • 4 chicken legs
  • 2 plain sour milks
  • 2 heads of yellow onion
  • 2 cloves of garlic
  • 1 squeezed lemon
  • olive oil
  • salt
  • pepper
  • mint leaves
  • coriander leaves



Start the tandoori chicken recipe at least 6 hours before eating. To do this, mix all the spices in a bowl. A book.


With the chicken, you can roll the thighs in the spices. If you chose to cook the tandoori chicken with a whole chicken, cut them into large pieces (thighs, breasts, wings) and mix them with the spices.

To prepare tandoori chicken, preheat the oven to 200°C.

Bake the tandoori chicken in the oven again for 15 minutes. At the end of cooking, make sure the chicken is cooked through.


Prepare the sauce to accompany the tandoori chicken. Squeeze the lemon juice into a bowl. Pour over the two natural sour milks. Chop the coriander and mint leaves. Mix the sauce well.


Serve the tandoori chicken thighs on a plate, with the bowl of Indian sauce. To flavor the chicken, pour the remaining lemon juice over the chicken.
